Preparing for Pandemic Influenza

Experts at the World Health Organization and elsewhere have declared that the world is now at the pandemic stage for H1N1 influenza virus. The the last of the previous century's three pandemics occurred in 1968. WHO uses a series of six phases of pandemic alert as a system for informing the world of the seriousness of the threat and of the need to launch progressively more intense preparedness activities.

The pandemic level has been reached. Safety Priority is helping clients prepare emergency action plans, staffing contingency models, business/operations continuity plans, and other strategies to be as prepared as possible for the impact of decreased staffing due to widespread illness.
